Just DL episode 2 yesterday and played through a little bit. Its more half life 2 so I love it. They added some things to the engine taht I can tell, and its still really fun. Its good playing it with 8x AA and 70 FPS.
I dont see why people complain about valve not supporting the PS3. For 60$ I upgraded my 2.4 GHZ single core PC that has only a gig of ram to play Episode 2 with high settings and 8x AA.
I really like the half life games and valve always deliver...
I was looking forward to halo on PC and when it went to xbox I hated Xbox for it. I changed my mind when I got an xbox and halo, and started playing some co-op with my fellow FPS fiend friends.
they make bucket loads of money from PC and STEAM. The 360 was easy for them to develop for and was nothing more than a quick cash grab. The source games really arnt demanding on PCs at all so I dont know why everyone complains so much. Probably just because Valve doesnt see their favorite piece of plastic as a good investment. With the amount of software STEAM moves, and the extra work theyd have to put into the PS3 to move small amounts of software, it really isnt worth their time.

this guy was just trying to be chaep and thought they could both use the content. How the avatar awards work tho, it would defeat the purpose if you could share your earned rewards with anyone.
If it worked how this guy wants then you wouldnt be able to DL your stuff when you go on a different Xbox. This is like me wanting to give someone else CS source for free because they have steam on the same computer.
you can still trade in games exactly the same. This still rewards you if you use your trade in value toward purchasing a new game as opposed to a used one. Gamestop only lowers the used game price 5$ anyways. This free DLC is worth 15$ so its still worth it to buy the new copy.
AHAHAAHAHA at the first guy. Why should this be illegal? You cant sell other dlc used anyways unless its on a disk. They are giving a majority of the customers 15$ of content for free as a reward fo...
screw Gamestop and anyone cheap enough to cry over the 5$ difference. They are giving away free DLC and some deuches complain?? Its valued at 15 dollars. I guarantee you wont save 15$ by buying it used. Anyone who complains is bad at math.
geez some people will cry over anything.
PS3rd has flopzone 2 in 4D.
being a PS3rd fanboy. He doesnt even have a ps3 probably. He has fun trolling the Internet.
You must have a sorry life.
Go back to you PS3rd fanboy lover Ben over at that Ps3rd blog. PS3rds for nerds or whatever its called.
you were both so butthurt over my comment I got banned from there in less than a day. LOL. you thouhgt I was the mart. hahahahaha. PS3rd. PS3rd.
for a 360 article on N4g to not have any butthurt PS3rd fanboys in it?
that was a rhetorical question. and the answer is no.
Halo 3 from 2007 has 4 players splitscreen matchmaking. You can have 4 people online with one xbox. Killzone cant even do splitscreen. LOL
I want all games to be challenging. Some games are way to easy.
And I dont like games that are only difficult at one part, and that part is usually some stupid mini game that is completely different from the actual game.
One example is gears one driving part, or the asteroid shooting in dead space. I beat both these games on the hardest but had trouble with these stupid parts. I had to really concentrate to pass these parts, and I didnt have fun.
...
I wantd a slim PS3, but now I think ill just get the regular one if thats what it looks like. wow, that is FUGLY.
I doubt it looks like taht
If he wanted to get it for his son he would have to DL it to his sons account. Anything you DL is attached to that account.
If it wasnt, any avatar awards you get would be able to be used by anyone on the same 360, which defeats the purpose of having to earn them.
Games are a different story as they are on the HD, but this is obvious.
Just another, "im incompetent, blame microsoft" article.
I like the update, I think the rati...
when you have an extended warrenty, you get the exact amount you paid back in store credit, tax and all. It doesnt matter what the current price is, its what you paid.
I sold my old pro to a friend and it later broke. It was still under the warranty and they gave me my 350+tax back in store credit. I used it to get my friend teh 60 gb pro for 300. I kept the difference on the giftcard for myself. I could have used the store credit for anything I wanted too. So yes, you coul...
well the far sight XR-20 shoot through walls before red faction had walls.
One of the coolest guns in games is teh LAPTOP GUN from Perfect dark.
^^^ yup, bolt gun was done before in HL 2 and F.E.A.R.
the cerebral bore from turok 2 is awesome too. It drills into enemies head, sending brains flying out, and then it explodes.
but microsoft always charges 20 or 30 for their platinum hits if you look on their website. Id shop around to get these for cheaper inless I really wanted to DL a game.
But I always figured they would charge the same prices as the games they sell from xbox.com, which is where they get these prices from.
but I hope taht there are some challenging ones. I dont want to put stuff on mine that every other person has too.
I like the idea of cool stuff but some stuff should be unlocked from games.
To keep it from being to common they should make it something kinda challenging, like beat a game on the HARDEST mode or unlock some pain in the ass achievement. That way people would be more likely to keep playing games and everyone wouldnt be able to get it too easy.
For example have a gold lightsaber for beating Force unleashed on the hardest mode, or get a plasmid or weapon from bioshoc...
